[Christophe Robin] Nourish and let your scalp have a breath of fresh air

Our scalps are the most neglected part of the body because it is covered with hair so we just forget about it.
With regular shampoos, they just cleanse the hair and that is it.
Christophe Robin offers a good range of products for the scalp.

I was recommended these products by the hairdresser and thought it was worth trying because as well as scrubbing and cleansing skin, my scalp needs a deep clean too.

Started with the CLEANSING PURIFYING SCRUB WITH SEA SALT which is recommended once a week.
I was really excited about this product because it was my first time using a scalp scrub which is paraben, silicone and colorant free.
It was easy to use, I just applied a tablespoon to my hands and rubbed it on wet scalp, it felt really soothing and comforting to know that the sea salt is a remedy that absorbs any colouring products left on the scalp.
The grains of salt are quite big and coarse as shown on my hand but it feels surprisingly good when massaged onto my scalp.

After drying my hair, my scalp felt fresh and cleaner than before.

Next was the shampoo which I used a few days later, it had a nice scent to start with.

I like the way it has Jujube bark extract which is soothing and has anti dandruff properties, while the Cherry blossom extract moisturizes my hair.

As you can see, my hair is looking good because I applied CHRISTOPHE ROBIN REGENERATING MASK WITH RARE PRICKLY PEAR SEED OIL after using the shampoo which de-tangles my hair instantly and makes it effortless to dry.

Finally bought the BaBylissPRO™ MiraCurl because the normal tongs are hard to use if you are styling hair yourself.

The MiraCurl does it all for you automatically and it magically curls the hair by winding it into the curler and beeps when your hair is curled.

The amika hair styling team were giving out FREE BLOWOUT cards in Central and I was so lucky to get one.

Basically they style your hair which reminds me of airplaybar that also styles hair with lovely braids.

Anyway, booked an appointment to try it out and they send you an email confirmation once its booked.

Turned up and had some fun.

I was choosing between the Pin Straight and the Alluring waves, in the end I chose the alluring waves.

It was really nice when it was freshly curled with lovely curly locks and I should have left it that way instead of having it tousled to get more volume, but it still looks good anyway.

A prolific offender known for his wild hair has been arrested by police again sporting this crazy style.

Phillip Donta Sole, 28, was hauled in by cops in Arizona earlier this week for alleged drug offences .

He stunned officers in Maricopa County with this blond and strawberry hair which he had tied up in pig-tails.

The hilarious photo led to Sole being named as the 'Mugshot of the Day' on the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office website.

But it is not the first time the stern-looking cross-dresser has found himself foul of the law, with cops arresting him in March 2011 and March 2012 for similar offences.

TIGI Bed Head Smoothing Stuff

Really nice hair smoothing product by TIGI with great exotic smell.

My hair was defrizzed and looking shiny.

It was much better than the Indola hair shimmer treatment.

Sun In Hair Lightener - Super strength

Before bleaching my hair, I used to use this to lighten my hair.

It had a lovely coconut scent to it.

For black/brown hair, it will lighten it slightly to dark brown with a reddish tone.

These days I will use it on the yellow tones of bleached hair to make it blonde.

The brilliant thing about this product  is that you just spray it on your hair and go out in the sun or use a hairdryer to lighten your hair.

INDOLA Glamour Shimmer treatment

Got this because I love shimmering products. Its function is to detangle hair and leave it shimmering.
It had a strong vanilla scent to it and a nice shimmer before it was applied.
I felt that it did not detangle hair as claimed and left my hair feeling slightly greasy.

JOHN FRIEDA blonde hair treatment

For lovely blonde hair, it comes with a price, especially when the stylist is not careful when bleaching your hair.
I got this tub of treatment by John Frieda, the smell is quite strong and the treatment itself is quite thick.
I left it on my hair for 10-15 minutes according to the instructions and it does smooth the hair leaving it managable.
